The Australian craft beer scene is at an exciting point and we’re eager to make our mark in the community with our tantalising range of craft beers and beverages from our own brewery in Armidale.

Take a tour of our new brewing headquarters, and then hang out and taste the local flavours we have on tap. We also stock our range in cans, so you can grab a takeaway when you find something you really like.

We opened the original Welder’s Dog craft beer bar in Armidale in December 2014 and haven’t looked back since. Boasting a capacity of 100, the bar hosts a full self-serve food fridge and all the platter items you could dream of – locally sourced and produced. If that doesn’t float your boat, you’re more than welcome to bring your own (BYO) food to enjoy with our range of our craft beers; like a good pale ale or a wheat.
Located in what was previously a service station, then a mechanic spare parts and most recently a locksmith, we’re proud of the history our bar has.
Private bookings are available and we’re an all-inclusive space where your beverage preferences won’t be judged. We promise. I mean, we serve a hard lemonade for those of you who are that way inclined.
Inverell

Opened in August 2021, our Inverell bar is the first with in house food available, and is our largest bar yet! Located on the main drag of Otho St, it offers a unique and inviting setting in an original 1885 hotel.
Our food truck operates 3 days a week, slinging delicious bar snacks and burgers from 5:00pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. We also boast a wonderful selection of cheese and antipasti and encourage you to make your own cheese platter for your stay at the bar.
The bar offers all your favourite Welder’s beers, plus a huge variety of wines, cocktails and premium spirits, including our 50 bottle gin wall. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet drink, family or staff gathering or any special occasion, with a number of bookable spaces available for functions. Follow our social media to stay across our regular music gigs, trivia, music bingo nights, art workshops and special events.

Opened in July 2017, our Tamworth homestead has a very special place in our hearts.
Located in a converted old drive-thru Rural Produce Store with a history long before us, we’re lucky that Tamworth has embraced our libations with such open arms.
We love providing Tamworth locals with the craftiest of our craft beer and local spirits. Private bookings are welcomed and featuring our classic self-serve platter food fridge, all are welcome to come and set up for any type of session. Again BYO your food and set up shop for any occasion.
